- Regional manufacturing data from the Empire State Index and the Philadelphia Fed Index will be released on Monday and Thursday, respectively.

X Factor
Quarterly earnings season ramps up this week and will be key for traders and investors as they decide whether or not cash goes into the Stock or Bond markets.
Second-quarter earnings are expected to increase 7.9 percent from a year ago, after first-quarter earnings posted their best performance since 2011. However, earnings may have to come in strong to lift Stocks more due to the S&P, Dow and NASDAQ being at all-time highs.
As mentioned, though, markets will be looking ahead to next week’s big events in the FOMC meeting and the release of the Gross Domestic Product report.
